Charging Infrastructure Interconnection Simplification Resource (CIISR)

The project will 1) accelerate new service grid interconnections across the utility, fleet, fast charging plaza operator, and Multiple Dwelling Unit (MDU) landscape, and 2) increase visibility into near, mid, and long-term fleet electrification and charging infrastructure planning to inform and accelerate required grid upgrade investments. To ensure stakeholders living and operating in disadvantaged communities benefit from this national project, special priority has been placed on deploying and facilitating the use of the processes and tools developed in this project across stakeholder groups in Justice 40 communities.
